Your registration includes your husband attending for the weekend. You do not need to register him separately. However, please include your husband’s meals on your registration form and if your children 12+ will also be joining you for the weekend.

Can I bring my kids and will there be childcare?

Montana Christian Home Educators Conference is specifically geared toward encouraging Christian homeschool moms in their homeschooling journey and yet we are family-friendly. We desire to allow flexibility for what suits your family best, while ensuring all our attendees have a great experience.

We are planning to offer a children’s program for ages 5-12 during the conference on Friday from 9:30-5 pm, and on Saturday from 8:30-4 pm.

We will provide partial childcare for children under 5. On your registration form, please indicate your interest and need in childcare. Available all day on Friday and Saturday but children will need to be picked up for meals.

If you choose to have your children attend the conference with you, we ask that you take full responsibility for them at all times, and keep them quiet during any sessions, so as not to be a distraction for others. There will be a nursery available for you throughout the duration of the conference if you and your child/ren need a quiet space.

During our keynote session on Friday evening there will be childcare for 3 months and older at 7:15 pm. Enjoy a nice meal with your husband and children and then be encouraged as moms and dads navigating homeschooling together. Childcare is available after dinner (approximately 7:00 pm) before the keynote speaker begins. Please check back for information on childcare on our site. An email will also be sent with more information.

Meals are provided by the conference for your husband and children 13+ if you fill out the registration form and indicate how many will be joining you. Please email info@mtconference.com if you have specific questions about childcare for this session.

If you would like childcare or to register your kids in the Children’s Program, please do so here: https://mtconference.com/childcare-registration/

I’m bringing a group. Is there a group rate?

The cost of the conference is set as low as possible so it is affordable and to cover our costs. None of us are paid for the behind-the-scenes work and the many, many hours we put into this conference. We are a small group of moms wanting to provide encouragement to other homeschool moms. We are not out to make money off of you; we are simply covering all the costs to have speakers and a venue in driving distance right here in Montana.

But invite any one who you think would benefit from this weekend! Friends, family and acquaintances. When you register, please indicate who invited you. We will be drawing for a fabulous basket from the names of all those who invited people.

I’m not arriving until later in the day on Friday. Can I receive a discount?

We do not offer partial day pricing. Early bird pricing is the cheapest price of $30 per day or $60 for both days. April 15th, the regular price is $40 per day or $75 for both days.

Do you offer scholarships?

We are a small conference at the moment and do not have an official scholarship application, but we would love you to be here with us. If lack of funds is stopping you from attending, please email info@mtconference.com and let us know your circumstances. We cannot promise any type of scholarship, but we certainly encourage you to ask.  (If out of town, we are unable to assist with your travel and accommodation costs.)

After April 15, can I still receive the early bird pricing?

Yikes, it’s April already! Early bird registration was open from February 15 to April 15. After this date the cost increases to the regular price of $75. We’re sorry you missed the early bird rate. Watch for details next year as early bird registration will open around the same time!.

Other Questions

I’m driving on my own. Where should I stay?

There are quite a few options in Lewistown where you can stay! Please take a moment to see if any of these options work for you: Accommodations in Lewistown. We do welcome you to come over to our Facebook page and see if there is another mom (or two!) who would like to share the cost of a room with you.

What should I wear?

Most of our attendees come casual. We want you to be comfortable! A light sweater may be of use in some of our well-air conditioned rooms.

I can’t make it this year. Will you have recordings?

Unfortunately, we will be unable to record (audio or visual) the sessions.

*Please note: video workshops will only be viewed during the conference. These will not be available for viewing after the conference.

Do you have a flier?

Yes, we do. Please print this year’s flier by clicking here.

Could I please talk with a real live person?

Yes. Please call or text (406) 788-9325 if you have questions and you just find it easier to communicate with a real live person. Please remember that we are homeschool moms so we will return your call but if we take a few days, we simply ask you to be patient with us.

Montana Christian Home Educators Conference: what do you mean by Christian?

We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy worldwide church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Because of this belief, we pray to the One True God, and therefore we will open in prayer, we will close in prayer, and we will take a few moments to worship in an effort to quiet our hearts before diving into teaching, learning, and growing in our role as wives and homeschool moms.

I have an idea for the upcoming conference. Who should I tell?

We love hearing your ideas and thoughts. Please send us an email at info@mtconference.com
