Mike Matthews
Keynote Speaker

Mike and his wife, Kathleen, began homeschooling in the late 70’s. They currently make their home in Idaho but have lived in Canada, Alaska, and Siberia. Mike will give us a basic understanding of worldview and relationships and how this ultimately ties to something bigger. Jessica Osmundson

Jessica is native to Montana and a second generation home educator with 10 children. She has been married to Ryan for 24 years. Her family farms and ranches near Buffalo, MT. Jessica loves to garden, cook, crochet, and lead women's Bible studies. To see session details, click here.

Jamie Christiansen
Homeschooling with Dyslexia

Jamie's heart is to encourage homeschooling parents in educating their children with Dyslexia. She is a homeschool mom of four and is a Dyslexia tutor. Jamie has a passion for seeing kids develop and grow and would say that it is a privilege to encourage other homeschool moms learning through the process. To see session details, click here.

Shane Klakken
Biblical Citizenship

Shane was born in Lewistown, raised on a ranch near Grass Range, and has a 31-year career of service in the U.S. armed forces. Retiring in 2018, he moved home to Grass Range after 38 years of service to our nation and state. He now takes care of his dad’s ranch for the purpose of ensuring it remains in the family. Brandy Vencel
End of Year Review, Video Hands-on Workshop

Brandy will not be at the conference but instead she has allowed us to show a recorded session which includes worksheets. She is a mother of 4, has graduated two and has been homeschooling since 2007. She is currently leading an online book club reading through Charlotte Mason's 5th volume, Formation of Character. Lisa is a mom of 6, grandma of 7 (including the newest addition of twins in December 2023). Lisa has been married to John for 33 years and has been homeschooling for 20+ years. At the end of this year she will graduate her 5th student! Both John and Lisa would say homeschooling has been one of the best choices they made and they’d choose it every time. Amanda Sewell

Amanda has been married to her husband, Joel, for 21 years. They have 6 children ages 18-3 and have graduated one so far. After living in Canada for 14 years as missionaries, Joel and Amanda have made Lewistown their home for the past 2 years. Hayley Beck

Hayley has been married to Randy for 26 years and homeschooling their 7 children (10th grade to kindergarten) using the Charlotte Mason method and following AmblesideOnline’s free curriculum. Hayley feels as though her education started when she began first grade with her oldest. Born and raised in Australia, Hayley and her family call Montana home. Delci Delci has been growing up right alongside her 2 kids, Josiah & Hadassah, all learning how to homeschool for 6 years. She married Bill 16 yrs ago & since then has helped minister to a fantastic group of people at Community Christian Fellowship in Grass Range by leading worship. She fills the rest of her day milking goats, gardening, with farm life, a YouTube channel & starting projects she doesn’t have time to finish. This weekend, you'll find Delci at the door to greet you when you arrive.

Youth Track

Philip Breaux
Guest youth pastor

Philip is a Biola University graduate and youth pastor at Faith E Church in Billings MT. He has worked with youth for over a decade and has a passion for teaching students the value of thinking biblically about everything. He has a heart for youth and it's evident in how he interacts with students one-on-one, in a group, or when he's teaching from the front. Philip and his wife, Miranda, have three children and one more on the way. The Youth Track will begin at 1:30pm on Friday (Session #3) and conclude at 5:30pm.

Conference Registration & Check-in

Abigail (daughter of Joel & Amanda Sewell) will be the person you'll find at the Check-In and Registration area. She graduated her homeschooling journey in 2023, then attended Montana Wilderness School of the Bible during the 2023-2024 school year. Dallas & Kayla Jenney
Worship Leaders

Dallas and Kayla have been married for 9 years and have 2 children. Together they have been leading worship for 11 years and counting. Dallas & Kayla will lead us in a time of worship, beginning each morning together before diving into the day; a moment to just take a breath and focus on the Lord before we soak in teaching and fellowship.

Randy Beck
Conference Chef

Randy has been married to Hayley for 26 years and has 7 children. Randy and Hayley cook for the elementary families in their church (165-200 people) once a month. He agreed to bring his creative cooking skills to Central Baptist Church's kitchen for the weekend. When not creating in the kitchen, you can find Randy creating online at www.mydomaintools.com (web design and marketing).

Lily-Kate Beck
Conference Sound Technician

Lily-Kate will be in 11th grade in the 2024-25 school year and has been homeschooled using the Charlote Mason method and AmblesideOnline curriculum throughout her entire schooling. She enjoys serving on the tech. team at her church, Faith Evangelical Church in Billings MT. She will be running sound, slides, and any video throughout the entire conference for all sessions.
